What is Thymosin Beta-4 (17-23)
Thymosin Beta-4 (17-23), an orally bioavaible and active peptide fragment of the 43-amino acid Thymosin Beta-4 protein, promotes wound healing and tissue regeneration through its effects on cell migration, angiogenesis, collagen synthesis, inflammation reduction, and overall tissue repair.
Benefits
- Accelerated wound healing and recovery
- Reduces inflammation and swelling in damaged tissues.
- Enhances Angiogenesis (new blood vessel formation)
- Supports collagen synthesis
- Improves cellular regeneration and tissue repair.
Mechanisms of Action
1. Cell Migration and Proliferation: Thymosin Beta-4 (17-23) promotes the movement and proliferation of various cell types, including fibroblasts and endothelial cells. This accelerates tissue repair and regeneration by enhancing cellular activities necessary for wound healing.
2. Angiogenesis: Stimulates the formation of new blood vessels (angiogenesis) by promoting endothelial cell growth and migration. Improved blood vessel formation enhances nutrient and oxygen delivery to damaged tissues, supporting faster and more effective repair.
3. Collagen Synthesis: Encourages collagen production by fibroblasts, which strengthens and restores the structural integrity of tissues. This helps in rebuilding damaged extracellular matrix and improving tissue firmness.
4. Anti-Inflammatory Action: Reduces inflammation by modulating inflammatory cytokine levels and cellular responses. This helps to decrease swelling and discomfort in injured or inflamed tissues.
5. Tissue Regeneration: Enhances the overall regenerative capacity of tissues by influencing various signaling pathways involved in cellular repair and remodeling. This supports more effective and balanced healing processes.
Dosage
Take 1-2 capsules daily or as directed by a physician.
